They evaluate existing architectures for performance, security, reliability, and scalability, ensuring continuous improvement. Additionally, they design hardware components, oversee integration of IT and OT systems, enforce standards compliance, and validate solution effectiveness through testing. Security is prioritized across all layers, with ongoing updates to safeguard against threats. Overall, the architect ensures solutions meet technical, operational, and business objectives effectively and securely.
