Job Description

The Stitching Operator – (Footwear / Leather Accessories & Garments) is responsible for assembling and stitching various components of footwear or leather products using hand tools and industrial stitching machines. The operator ensures seam alignment, stitch consistency, and product quality while handling materials like leather, synthetic, fabric, and linings. The job requires precision, coordination, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. This qualification offers two specialization electives: • Elective 1: Footwear (Mandatory)– focused on upper stitching, reinforcements, and assembly for different footwear constructions. • Elective 2: Leather Accessories & Garments (Optional) – focused on stitching of bags, wallets, belts, jackets, and other leather goods. The role is essential in ensuring the final product’s durability, aesthetic appeal, and functional quality as per industry expectations.
