About this Qualification

Job Description

Krishi Sahayak is popularly known as Krishi Sakhi or Aajeevika Krishi Mitra (AKM) or Community Resource Person-Agriculture. The individual is responsible for creating awareness and building capacity of farmer/ rural house hold members on agricultural activities and facilitates aggregation and marketing of the agricultural produce for sustainable agriculture-based livelihoods at SHGs/household level. The individual in job is also required to collect various data of each individual farmer/ producer member on various parameter. The individual also provides technical guidance to farmers on various crop cultivation practices and demonstrate improved practices for the same.
