About this Qualification

Job Description

The Broadband Network Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of broadband network infrastructure, including optical fiber cables (OFC), related passive components, and customer premises equipment (CPE). The role involves splicing, jointing, and termination of fiber cables; configuring broadband connectivity; troubleshooting network and customer faults; and maintaining quality, safety, and documentation standards. The technician works in coordination with the Network Operations Center (NOC), field teams, and customers to ensure uninterrupted broadband services in compliance with organisational and industry norms.
