Job Description

Bioinformatics Associate, also known as a Bioinformatics Analyst, is multifaceted, requiring a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills. The job role holder has ability to perform data mining and data transformation using statistical tools and various programming scripts, followed by the reporting and organization of data analysis results in specified templates and formats. This job requires coordination with managers, team members, and cross-functional teams to achieve functional objectives. Additionally, the Bioinformatics Associate may be involved in specialized functions such as Open-Source language programming, Dry Lab Genomic Pipeline Analysis, Dry Lab Meta-genomics Analysis, data quality assessment and filtering, data interpretation and analysis of variants, and the tweaking and customization of pipelines. A fundamental understanding of data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Large Language Models (LLMs) is crucial, enabling the meaningful interpretation of data within the field.
