About this Qualification

Job Description

The individual is responsible for attending to the physical, emotional, developmental, and social needs of newborns, and new mothers. They provide daily care, assist with feeding and hygiene, monitor health, ensure a safe environment, and support postpartum recovery. The role may be performed in households or care homes and requires adherence to health and safety standards, effective communication, and compassion.
