Job Description

A Zoo Animal Keeper -Small Captive Animals is responsible for the daily care, management, and well-being of small captive animals and their habitats. The role involves feeding the animals, cleaning and maintaining their enclosures, and monitoring their health, eating patterns, and behavior on a regular basis. The keeper is also responsible for grooming, bathing, and ensuring the animals receive adequate exercise to remain healthy and active, while always prioritizing personal and animal safety. Additionally, the keeper supports veterinarians in health checks, treatments, and medical care.
