About this Qualification

Job Description

An Agriculture Field Officer is responsible for promoting relevant agricultural loan and insurance products to farmers. The individual identifies and connects with the potential borrowers; determines their eligibility; collects required information and documents for the loan application and coordinates with the credit officer for the processing of the loan application. The person is also responsible for monitoring the repayments, coordinating with farmers to ensure timely repayments, and carrying out appropriate documentation during the loan cycle. Coordinating timely insurance premium payments and insurance claim settlements are also individual’s responsibilities.
